If you love thoroughbreds then you are probably also captivated by what could be the greatest mare in the history of racing.
She came up against her local 'nemesis' in Australia today, Hay List, with the least favorable lead up she has ever had before facing her only real competitor Down Under.
Hay List has 14 wins and 20 placings from 22 starts himself. And would have been celebrated as a champ in his own right in almost any other era, but after today's 5th second placing to the great mare, a total of 6 from his 8 losses have now come at her hands.
Hay List gave BC her greatest test of her 19 start career to date, but the video below shows how it was never going to be enough to best her.
